One Court Square is a 50-story 673-foot office lower located in Long Island City, Queens. One Court sits directly across the East River from Manhattan. The building was completed in 1990 by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP for Citigroup. Since then, One Court Square has been the tallest building in Queens since its completion. Most notably, the building was chosen as the second Headquarters for Amazon, until the company decided to cancel its plan to occupy the building. The building sits within walking distance from numerous subway stations, providing direct access to Manhattan. The building also is served by an LIRR station at Hunters point Avenue, which is only an 8-minute walk from the building.
