Job Title: Site Manager
Reports To: General Superintendent
Job Duties
- Ensures that every person coming to site sign-in the daily sheet
- Enforces Safety on site:
- Every person on site must wear PPE (hard hat, safety vest, boots, safety glasses)
- Use of platform ladders
- Use of guardrails on baker scaffolds regardless of height
- Close off or seal off control access zones
- Provides Hot Work permits to any worker that performs hot work (welding, use of torch, brazing, welding)
- Provides Worker’s Orientation (rules and regulations) to any new worker coming to site
- Fills out Daily Logs
- Manages laborers, ensure to maintain a clean and organized Job site
- Arranges garbage pick ups
- Places order of material/supplies
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Experience as a Superintendent in a relevant setting, ideally 5-7 year’s experience in ground-up residential, interior fit-out, and/or hospitality
- An eye for detail and accuracy along with superior communication and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- SST required
- NYC DOB certifications is a plus
- Experience with Procore (training available)
