SavCon recently completed five floors of office fit-outs at 106 W 56th, totaling $3.5 million dollars, during quarter one of 2022. The location, a minimalist high rise, The Six, climbs 26 stories in midtown Manhattan just three blocks south of Central Park. Three of the five spaces were tailor built for new tenants: Buckeye Partners, a liquid petroleum operator, TCG, a biomedical investment firm, and Conti, a multifamily investment real estate firm. During the construction phase, SavCon helmed the installation of intricate millwork, recessed LED wall wash light fixtures at every elevator lobby, and a bathroom build composed of complex millwork vanities, Italian stone countertops, and wall-to-wall glass mirrors with frosted banding. Building tenants have two palettes of high-end finish packages to choose from. The Italian marble selections include: Bardiglio the stone selected for those choosing dark scheme flooring, and Bianco Rhino, that of the light scheme flooring. For the walls, Black Limba or White Oak wood panels dawn the walls for the communal areas.
SavCon’s Senior Project Manager on the project reflects, “In less than 20 weeks, we were able to help Gensler’s design come to life across five floors in this building. The finished office space will make for an unforgettable experience for the tenants.” SavCon is currently in the construction phase of another four floor pre-builds in the office building totaling another $3.2 million dollars. The projected completion date is set for September 2022.
