SavCon scored the $1.5 million–dollar Urban Space renovation which was initially a concrete fit–out inside RAL Development Service’s Zero Irving, a state–of–the–art office building representing a striking fresh look for Manhattan office space. This vibrant mixed–use project oozes luxury, sophistication, and industrious design for a high–energy food hall just steps away from Union Square.
SavCon stepped into this fit–out third of the way after taking this job on from another GC that faulted and left during the construction phase. Following 4–5 weeks of reviving the 10,000 sqft space, SavCon is roughly 70% complete. Superintendent, Brian Heinlein stated, “All MEPs are 90% complete and we are starting to close walls and ceilings. We have approximately 8 weeks left in the construction schedule. The booth vendors are in the beginning stages of
equipment delivery.”
With SavCon’s diligence and persevering effort, the construction manager was awarded two more floors inside Zero Irving which is set to begin late April. Urban Space is scheduled to be complete by mid–July.
