Dylan, who has cerebral palsy, struggles with his mobility, and would need a special bathroom to be able to get in and out trouble-free. SavCon made it their mission to grant his wish to design and construct an accessible bathroom to improve his quality of care and his family’s day-to-day life.
SavCon formed a 2-week plan to execute three projects: widening the doorframe for wheelchair accessibility, removing the existing bathtub to create an open shower, and renovating the sink area for a more open design. Superintendent of SavCon, Brian Heinlein, said “This project has been incredible as we work alongside our contractor partners, using our professional skills to make a difference in Dylan’s life.”
Subcontractors for this job include Hi-Lume Corporation, Dormar Construction and Pace Plumbing.
